Here’s Week 33 of the 52-week Photo Challenge. The challenge for week 33 is Artistic; specifically, Collaboration. The goal was to shoot something (anything) but in collaboration with another artist. So, for this week’s challenge, I decided to use one of the shots that I took in Panther Beach A few of us went to Panther Beach for sunset and Light Painting. This time around, I didn’t just shoot somebody spinning the steel wool, I got into it as well. A fellow Photographer and I ‘collaborated’ together and this is one of the shots we came up with.
Here’s Week 32 of the 52-week Photo Challenge. The challenge for week 32 is Landscape; specifically, something that packs a lot of color. For this week’s challenge, I decided to use one of the shots that I took during my recent trip to the Eastern Sierras to shoot Fall Colors. This was a great experience. In a lot of places, the Fall colors were peaking. Even though some of the places weren’t good subjects for photography, it was a great sight. I wish Sowmya traveled with me. She would have loved it.
Hats off to the organizer of this meetup though. He did a phenomenal job of planning the trip. It was very tight and everyone got pretty tired at the end of the day but he wanted everyone to have the best experience by visiting as many spots as possible.
Here’s a shot from the Misty Falls. We didn’t see a lot of water in the falls but the scenery was simply spectacular.
Here’s Week 31 of the 52-week Photo Challenge. The challenge for week 31 is Portrait; specifically, Street Candid. For this week’s challenge, I decided to use a shot that took of this street vendor in Rajasthan, India. We were visiting a Fort and right outside the Fort, there were bunch of street vendors. As much as I enjoyed visiting the Fort, I had so much fun Photographing the street vendors. When I saw this woman selling hand-made jewelry, I decided to take a shot. She didn’t mind at all. I didn’t want her to pose so I was waiting for her be natural and not worry about the guy with camera in his hand. So, I waited for a few minutes and got this shot. I loved her colorful dress, her jewelry, and the overall feel.
