Here’s Week 23 of the 52-week Photo Challenge. The challenge for week 23 is Landscape; specifically, Weather. The goal was to feature the unpredictable weather as the main subject in this week’s challenge.
For this week’s challenge, I decided to use one of the shots that I took during one of my recent visits to San Francisco to shoot the Golden Gate Bridge. A few of us (from the Photography group) decided to head to San Francisco to shoot the Golden Gate Bridge from Hawk Hill. To start with, we encountered heavy traffic in SF. The closer we got to Golden Gate Bridge, we realized that the trip isn’t really going to work out as well as we hoped as there was heavy fog. We were driving on the bridge and could barely see the towers. When we went up to Hawk Hill, the fog was so dense that we couldn’t really see anything. So, we decided to go to Fort Point to try out luck. Most of the time, the bridge was covered in thick fog. This is one shot where the fog cleared a bit for me to get a glimpse of the bridge.
