Here’s Week 12 of the 52-week Photo Challenge. The challenge for week 12 is Artistic; specifically, Transportation. I actually had several options for this week’s challenge. The options I had in front of me were 1) a motorcycle that shot at Pinnacles National Park, 2) a boat that I shot at Half Moon Bay and 3) a Train that I shot at Fort Bragg. and 4) A Bike Stunt that I shot at one of the Hot Import Night events. It was a bit difficult to pick one shot but I decided to go with the Bike Stunt as this was a artistic challenge. Instead of just a bike, boat, or train, I thought I’d use a bike that completely up in the air.
Here’s Week 11 of the 52-week Photo Challenge. The challenge for week 11 is Landscape; specifically, reflection. As I mentioned in one of my previous post, we went to Yosemite in early April and I took a bunch of photos. Some of the photos turned out great. Here’s a photo of the Yosemite Falls taken from the Swinging Bridge. This was shot during golden hour. I didn’t have my tripod with me so had to shoot handheld. Having a tripod would have made everything super sharp but this turned out great.
Given I was in Yosemite, which used to be Ansel Adams playground, I decided to process this in B&W. It turned out great! I loved this reflection shot.
Here’s Week 10 of the 52-week Photo Challenge. The challenge for Week 10 is Environmental Portrait; meaning, show a subject in their natural environment. Tell their story with the environment they are in.
What I thought I’d do is use one of the photos I took in Jaipur from our trip in 2013. I saw a bunch of ladies selling handmade jewelries, ornaments, and accessories. I took a bunch of photos and this one really stood out.
